Fuel system priming
Prime the fuel feed system (release air) using a
priming pump when starting the engine or when chang-
ing the replaceable filter. For this:
1. Open the expansion tank cover.
2. Place reservoir under the coarse fuel filter. We
recommend putting clear tubing on the vent plug so as to
avoid uncontrolled fuel spill.

priming pump and bleed air from the system by moving
the handle back and forth. Stop bleeding after the fuel
without bubbles comes out of the opening.
5. Press the pump handle until it stops and fix this
position by turning it clockwise.
6. Tighten the vent plug with the torque of 1,0 to
2,0 N·m.
7. Close the expansion tank cover.
8. Start the engine. The air will be released from
the fuel feed system automatically.
Attention!
Do not use the manual priming pump after the
engine is started to prevent damage to the coarse fuel
filter components as well as leakage.
The manual priming pump may be used only for
filling the coarse fuel filter.
It is prohibited to use any external filling devices
to fill a coarse fuel filter.
When filling the coarse fuel filter with the help of
external filling devices or when filling the whole low
pressure circuit with the help of manual priming pump,
which is mounted into the coarse fuel filter, the permissi-
ble fuel pressure is exceeded. This may result in feed sys-
tem components failure and uncontrolled fuel leaks.
