7.4 TEMPERATURE CONTROL IN HEATING MODE

In heating mode, the temperature in the vehicle or
the temperature of intake air are constantly measured. If
the temperature is higher than the value set on the control
panel, adjustment process begins.
There are four control steps, which ensure the ex-
act dosage of heat energy flow supplied by heater in ac-
cordance with the needs. Fan rotary speed and supplied
fuel quantity correspond to selected control step.
If temperature rise of instrument is recorded even
at the lowest control step, the heater goes to "OFF" con-
trol stage with fan coastdown for about 4 minutes for
cooling.
Then, fan works until the next start at minimum
speed (recirculate mode) or turns off (fresh air mode).

7.5 MODE OF VENTILATION

To activate the mode of ventilation select the
function «Ventilation» on display screen of control panel,
and then switch on the heater. For more information on
function selection, see
VENTILATION.

7.6 SWITCHING

When the heater is turned off, «Off» is displayed
for 2 seconds on control panel display, then current time
clock and actual temperature in the vehicle are switched
off, fuel supply is turned off.
Inertial run-out of the fan is provided for cooling
for about 4 minutes.
To clean combustion chamber during inertial run-
out of the fan, pin electrode is switched on for about 40
seconds.
Exception:
If there was no fuel supply before switch-off, or if
the heater was in step «OFF», the heater goes into
standby mode after inertial run-out.
