Description

The ZF-Intarder is a wear-free operating, hydrodynamic
additional brake which is integrated into the transmission.
It reduces the wear of the wheel brakes,
• during braking down from higher speeds.
• when riding along downhill tracks.
The ZF-Intarder contributes to a smoother and more
economic driving style.
The advantages of the ZF-Intarder are:
• High level of braking performance;
• Short response times;
• Joint oil circuit with the manual transmission and thus,
joint oil change intervals;
• Low weight;
• Low constant operating temperatures of the
transmission thanks to integrated, consistent cooling.
