HILL START ASSIST CONTROL

Hill start assist control is a part of ESP brake sys-
tem. Hill start assist control helps the driver to keep the
vehicle from rolling down at starting from standstill on
the upgrade.
Operation of hill start assist control
1. Start the engine.
2. Engage the hill start assist control pressing
on the the upper part of the hill start assist control
switch. With this, the pilot lamp lights up on the
instrument panel
.
3. Engage the gear in the gearbox.
4. Release the vehicle parking brake and start the
motion.
When starting from standstill the vehicle is auto-
matically taken off from the hill start assist control, pilot
lamp dies out.
During the motion or when depressing the parking
brake the hill start assist control device is disengaged but
is in operational status.
To switch off the hill start assist control device
press on the bottom of the hill start assist control device
switch, pilot lamp goes out.
Attention!
Do not use the hill start assist control device
when it is an ice covered ground to exclude the vehicle
rolling down.
