Fuel tank filling
(for certain configurations upon availability of two
fuel tanks)
Fuel tanks are connected by the crossover pipeline
of small section (see Fig. Fuel tank).
When filling in both fuel tanks it is recommended:
- to open covers on both fuel tanks;
- fill in both tanks through filler neck of one of the
tanks, with crossover pipeline valve opened. Filling of the
second tank is carried out through the crossover pipeline

Speed of fuel overflow from tank to tank is enough
in the process of vehicle motion. Sequence of filling in
the tanks is free, but the left tank is considered to be the
main, as a fuel suction pipe is installed in it.

If at fuel tank opening the air sharp letout is ob-
served (increased air pressure in the tank) or air suction
(vacuum in the tank), it is necessary to change the air fil-
ter of fuel tank.
Replacement of fuel tank air filter is described in
Section 6 «Maintenance».
Attention!
In emergency situations (at breakage of crossover
pipe, damage of the right side) or if necessary you can
close the valve and fill in only the left tank.
