OPERATION MODES

When the ignition key is turned to position «ON»,
the illumination of emergency button «SOS» (color - red)
lights up for 5-6 sec. and dies out. If malfunction in emer-
gency response service call system appears, in 20-30 sec.
the emergency «SOS» button illumination lights up and is
on continuously till the moment of fault elimination or
when the ignition key is turned to position «0». Address
the service center to eliminate the troubles.
Illumination of emergency «SOS» button can be
continuously on in case when signals from satellites GPS/
GLONASS are absent. It is not a defect if the vehicle is in
the places closing the direct visibility of satellites (in tun-
nels, under bridges and so on). After vehicle moving out
to the places of direct satellite vision the illumination
should die.
The emergency response service call unit is in the
mode «Switched Off», if from the moment of ignition key
rotation to position «0» not less than 72 hours have
passed. In the mode «Switched Off» the system does not
respond to emergency call SOS button pressing and there
is no illumination of emergency call SOS button.
Emergency call «SOS»
Emergency call can be made under condition that
ignition key is in position «ON» or that from the moment
of the last disengagement not more than 72 hours have
passed.
For emergency call it is necessary to take away a
protection cover, press and hold down the button of emer-
gency «SOS» call for not lessthan 2 sec. Illumination of
emergency «SOS» call button (color-red):
- starts blinking while calling to the operator of
emergency response cervices;
- is continuously on during the call, minimum data
set transfer, voice connection with operator.
At the beginning of voice connection the sound re-
production of radio receiver (radio recorder or multime-
dia system with «MUTE» function) stops, if it worked be-
fore the moment of emergency call.
Cancellation of extreme manual call can be ful-
filled at the moment of dialing to the operator of emer-
gency response services (illumination of emergency
«SOS» call button blinks red), for this purpose it is neces-
sary to press and hold down the emergency «SOS» call
button for not less than 2 sec. Red illumination dies out.
