PARKING BRAKE RELEASE
IN HAZARD SITUATIONS
Means of parking brake release in hazard situa-
tions:
1. If there is no available means to fill the receiv-
ers with compressed air, the truck brake may be released
mechanically. To do this, rotate the mechanical brake
release screws (approximately for 30 turns) out to the
stop (see Fig. Spring brakes of the brake chambers).
After the trouble in pneumatic drive is eliminated,
screw-in the screws into their place.

lease screw
Attention!
If there is no sufficient air pressure in brake sys-
tem pneumatic drive, then after the mechanical release
of parking brake, the truck will have no brakes at all.
Prior to parking spring brake release, place the
chocks under wheels.
2. Besides, with no compressed air in the pneu-
matic system, you may release the truck brakes having
supplied the compressed air from the outer source into
the tire inflation valve arranged on the right side of vehi-
cle, under the hatch cover of cabin footstep.
To do this, you need to turn the tire inflation valve
clockwise and then turn it on 2 turns counterclockwise,
to open the valve. According to information of pressure
indicators, make sure that the pneumatic actuator is fill-
ing.
