SUSPENSION

Front suspension is a leaf spring suspension.
Rear suspension is an air spring suspension. For
air suspension regulation and control an electronic con-
trol system (ECAS) of «WABCO» is used.

STEERING CONTROL

Steering control is with hydraulic booster built in
steering unit. In accord with configuration, vehicles are
equipped with steering mechanisms «RBL», «ZF».
The steering wheel location is on the left side.
The steering column is an adjustable one.

BRAKE SYSTEM

Service brake system actuator - pneumatic, sepa-
rate. The rated pressure in pneumatic drive is from 9,0 to

10,0 kgf/cm

Vehicle is equipped with electronic brake system
(EBS), comprising the following functions:
- control of serice and secondary brake systems
(Brake-Management);
- anti-lock braking system (ABS);
- anti-skid system (ASS);
- electronic stability programme (ESP).
Brake mechanisms, disk type, «HALDEX»,
«KNORR-BREMSE», «WABCO» (depending on vehi-
cle configuration).
Front brake chambers are of diaphragm type, rear
chambers are provided with spring energy accumulators.
Cab is metal, located over the engine, two seat,
with a super high or low roof, with one or two bunks.
Installation of cab on the frame is possible on 4
point-contact, spring or pneumo-elastic elements. Air
suspension stiffness is regulated automatically.
Vehicle is provided with a cab hydraulic tilter.

HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT

Vehicle designed for transportation of oil tank
semi-trailer is provided with double-line hydraulic sys-
tem with outlet to hydraulic motor. Hydraulic motor
drives oil product transfer pump.
