To decrease the motion speed use secondary brake
system. When engaging secondary brake system the elec-
tronic control system automatically shifts the gearbox
down.
To stop the vehicle apply the brakes and stop it.
At short stoppage, for example before the traffic light, the
chosen motion mode can remain engaged. In such a case
it is always recommended to hold the service brake on.
During the long term stop (more than 2 minutes)
set the neutral gear in the gear box. For this shift the rota-
ry switch to position N (symbol «N» will flashes on the
display) and engage the parking brake.
Attention!
When the vehicle is stopped, shortly before the en-
gine crankshaft idle speed is reached, the electronic sys-
tem engages the clutch automatically. With the engine op-
erating and stationary vehicle the gearbox automatically
engages the gear convenient for starting from standstill.
The vehicle can start moving.
Stopping the vehicle always set the service or
parking brake.
Engagement of reverse gear
Reverse gear is engaged only on a stationary vehi-
cle with the neutral engaged in the gearbox.
1. Depress the service brake pedal or engage the
parking brake.
2. By the rotary switch choose the mode R. The
symbol «R» will flash on the display.
3. Release the service brake or disengage the park-
ing brake and smoothly depress the fuel feed pedal.
Attention!
When coasting downhill, do not disengage the
gear.
When shifting the gear do not change position of
fuel feed pedal.
After the gearbox failure pilot lamp lighting on the
instrument panel
If simultaneously the pilot lamp of automated
gearbox failure and the emergency pilot lamp STOP
light on - vehicle movement is prohibited till fault elimi-
nation.
