10. In case of lighting of incidental oil pressure
and incidental coolant temperature pilot lamps located on
the instrument panel and warning about the dangerous
drop of pressure in engine lubricating system and about
critical over-heating of coolant, stop the engine immedi-
ately, find and remedy the trouble.
11. In case of any faults menacing the road safety,
stop the truck immediately to eliminate troubles and
switch ON the emergency signaling system.
12. Observe the tire pressure values in accordance
with the requirements presented in this Manual in order to
prevent the tire intensive wear-out.
13. The weight of the cargo to be transported
should not exceed the established norms, as overloading
influences the road safety and causes rapid wear of vehi-
cle units.
14. When accelerating the vehicle it is not recom-
mended to throw into high gear until speed of motion on
this gear reaches the maximum.
15. It is not recommended to stop train on climb or
descend To prevent road train runaway at forced stop it is
.
necessary to:
- engage the parking brake system;
- engage the lower gear in mechanical gear gox.
In the gear box with automated control the neutral
position should be fitted (forcefully - if necessary). Make
sure that «N» illuminates on the display;
- shut down the engine;
- put the chocks under rear wheels of vehicle and
semitrailer.
16. In the attempt to drive the truck out of the rut,
do not keep the steering wheel turned to extreme position
longer than for 15 sec.
17. During long traveling on dirty roads (with liq-
uid dirt), periodically, wash the radiator surface with wa-
ter directed under sufficient pressure from the hose. To do
this, raise the cab and direct the water jet onto the radiator
from engine side. Keep the alternator from direct water
hit.
18. Engage the reverse gear only in stationary ve-
hicle, with engine idling.
19. Do not disconnect the storage batteries by the
switch while engine is running.
20. When parking the vehicle for a stoppage dis-
connect the storage batteries from electric equipment by
pressing the button of storage battery remotely controlled
switch. Click the button briefly, for no more than 2 sec.
21. It is forbidden to use the side safety device as a
ladder.
22. Water obstacles fording is forbidden. Maxi-
mum fordable depth is to be not more than 250 mm.
23. Maximum permissible speed of the vehicle
movement without semitrailer on the roads of normal type
(not an express way GOST R 52398-2005) is not more
than 60 km/h.
