WHEN INFLATING THE TIRES

Decrease of air pressure onto 25 % of the rated
value cuts their service life onto 35-40 %. Also mind that
reduction of air pressure in tires onto 98 kPa
2
(1,0 kgf/cm
) results in increase of fuel consumption on-
to 1 – 1,5 l/100 km.
You may inflate the tire without demounting it if
air pressure has dropped not more than onto 40 % from
normal one and if you are sure that pressure decrease
didn't violate the proper tire mounting.
For inflating the tires, you should use the special
hose supplied with the service kit, or any other suitable
hose fitted with a cap nut threaded to M16 x 1,5. The
hose is to be connected to the pressure regulator.
For tire inflation, the air delivery valve is on pres-
sure regulator, valve is closed by cap 1 (see Fig. Air dry-
er with pressure regulator).

To deliver air using a tire inflation hose (from
tools set), connect it instead of a cap, for this, tighten the
butterfly nut until it stops and decrease the compressed
air
pressure
in
2
(6,2-6,5 kgf/cm
). To decrease pressure, be sure to open
the condensate drain cock in any receiver and apply the
brake valve several times. The regulator comes to opera-
tion and compressor starts compressed air delivery.
Attention!
Constantly watch the pressure level in a tire
when inflating tires. Excess of rated tire pressure is not
admissible!
During tire inflation, leave the zone of work.
