GEARBOX WITH AUTOMATED CONTROL

Depending upon vehicle configuration, the vehicle
may be equipped with gearboxes of models ZF 12AS
2130 TD, ZF 12AS 2131 TD with automated control for
clutch linkage and gear shift mechanism.
Gear shifting can be carried out in automatic mode
(gear box control unit chooses the necessary gear itself) as
well as in manual mode (the gear choice is made by the
driver).
Gear box and clutch are managed by electronic
control system. Clutch pedal is absent.
Gearbox automatic control is carried out depend-
ing on the engine crankshaft speed, fuel feed pedal posi-
tion, vehicle load, service brake operational state, road
conditions.
Manual gear shifting and gear shift point are de-
fined by the driver.

Messages on the display

The display on the instrument panel shows opera-
tional information, warning messages for the gear box
with automated control.

Gearbox in neutral position
Reverse gear;

In this case the 4th gear is engaged
in manual mode.
