4. FUEL DELIVERY

4.1 ACCIDENTS PREVENTION GUIDELINES
CONCERNING FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM
Attention!
Do not operate the heater using unacceptable fuel/
fuel blends, or add used oil to fuel.
Disregard of this instruction may cause injury of
people, or cause malfunctions or damage to the heater. It
is only allowed to use fuel approved by the manufacturer
of the heater or of the vehicle.

4.2 FUEL QUALITY

Independent device for heating and maintenance
of air temperature in the cab operates on diesel fuel.
It is necessary to use fuel corresponding to Euro-
pean standard EN 590, with sulfur content of not more
-1
than 10 million
.
Suggestions on season usage of diesel fuels in re-
gions of Russian Federation are presented in standard
GOSТ Р 52368-2005 (ЕН 590:2004).
«Diesel fuel EURO». If fuel is supplied to the
heater from a separate fuel tank, the following rules must
be observed:
- at a temperature above 0 °C: use diesel fuel in
accordance with DIN EN 590.
- at a temperature from 0 °C to -20 °C: use winter
diesel fuel in accordance with DIN 590.
- at a temperature from - 20 °C to - 40 °C: use arc-
tic or polar diesel fuel.
Please note!
After refueling with winter diesel fuel, fuel lines
and metering pump must be filled with new fuel by turn-
ing on the heater for 15 minutes!
4.3 OPERATION USING BIO FUEL
(FATTY-ACID METHYL ESTERS)
Operation and maintenance of the heater on bio-
fuel (FAME) is not allowed.
It is allowed to add no more than 10 % of biodiesel.

5. OPERATION GUIDELINES

The heater is controlled via control panel. There is
a detailed instruction for use control panel (see section 9.
CONTROL PANEL (TIMIMG DEVICE)).

6. MAINTENANCE ADVICE

6.1 RELIABILITY CONTROL BEFORE STARTING

After long periods of idle time (summer time),
check the fastening of all components (tighten screws if
necessary).
Check leakproofness of fuel supply system by
visual check.
