WORLD WING
WORLD WING is the DoCoMo FOMA international roaming service. By taking out the UIM (green) from the
FOMA terminal you normally use and inserting it into a FOMA terminal supporting the service or an overseas
mobile phone (W-CDMA or GSM handset), you can make/receive calls in foreign countries with your own
mobile phone number.
You can use WORLD WING without subscription.
● If you have not contracted WORLD WING for the FOMA service in the contract before August 31, 2005,
a separate subscription is required to use WORLD WING.
● This service cannot be used with some billing plans.

Attaching/removing the battery pack

Turn the power off before attaching or removing the battery pack. Also, attach or remove it with FOMA
terminal closed using both hands.
Be careful not to touch the camera lens.
Use the specified battery pack D06.

aRemove the rear cover.
Press here.
While pressing the top of the rear cover with your
thumb, slide it in the direction of the arrow until it is
removed.
bWith the surface with the DoCoMo logo and the
recycle mark of battery pack facing up, insert the
battery pack into FOMA terminal at the angle as
shown in the figure.
Do not force the battery pack terminals into FOMA
terminal. Doing so could damage these terminals or
the body connector.
cPush the battery pack in.
dPlace the rear cover plate so that it can slide
about 2 mm on FOMA terminal.
eSlide the rear cover in the direction of the arrow
pushing its center by fingers so that FOMA
terminal and the rear cover do not gap.
Failure to follow the correct procedure could damage the
rear cover.
aRemove the rear cover.
bLift the projection part of the battery pack and
remove it.
