Using the Speed Selector
You can rotate the Speed Selector as well as press o and O to operate it. The operation performed by
rotating the Speed Selector varies by the screen.
Operating on the standby display
One of the following operations is available by rotating the Speed Selector:
Operation
Executing a function Displays the menu, the phonebook list or the calendar screen of Scheduler,
according to Speed Selector Setting. You can also set to execute no function.
Switching images on
Switches images on the standby display when Change image is set to Speed selector in
the standby display
Random Display Image.
Operating on a screen other than the standby display
Depending on the screen, the same operation as pressing % or & is available. Rotating the Speed Selector
moves the highlighted item or scrolls the screen according to how much the Speed Selector is rotated. This allows
you to operate quickly. As the rotating direction, Clockwise or Anticlockwise can be set in Speed Selector Setting.

You can adjust the ring volume by rotating the Seed Selector while receiving a voice/videophone/PushTalk
call. Also, rotating during a voice/PushTalk call adjusts the volume of other party's voice.

You can zoom in and out by rotating the Speed Selector on the shooting screen of Camera/Movie Camera or
videophone talking screen.

In entry fields for date/time and number, rotating the Speed Selector increases and decreases values.
However, this operation is unavailable in some entry fields.
INFORMATION
In the following cases, no operation is performed by rotating the Speed Selector but pressing % or & is enabled:

Displaying sites by shortcuts on the dial input screen

Moving the cursor, frame or stamp while editing still image
If Speed selector is set to ON in Light Alert Setting, the Enter key lights/flashes when the Speed Selector is rotated.
