Setting mail
Setting mail functions of FOMA terminal
Sorting mail automatically into designated
folders
Received/sent i-mode Mail and SMS can be sorted
into the specified folders automatically according to
the set criteria.
Up to 30 criteria can be registered for received
mail and sent mail respectively.
Setting sort criteria
To set and activate the criteria, set auto sort to
ON for received mail and sent mail. It is set to ON
by default. ☛P256
The criteria are valid for the mail received/sent
after setting the criteria. Previously received/sent
mail is not resorted.
You can sort normal mail to Message i-
folders.
If the corresponding Message i-
exists, any mail for Message i-
that folder, regardless of the sort criteria.

Specifying a mail address:
Sorts mail by sender/receiver mail address.
Specify an entire address including characters
following the @ symbol (up to 50 one-byte
characters). You cannot sort mail by specifying
part of the mail address. If you specify a phone
number, you can sort SMS as well.

Specifying a subject:
Sorts mail having a subject that includes the
specified characters (up to 30 one-byte or 15
two-byte characters). You cannot sort SMS by
subject.

number corresponding to the specified FOMA
