When the general silent mode is set
Incoming call or mail is notified with vibrator by muting sounds heard from FOMA terminal such as ring alert,
keypad sound and alarm. Microphone is sensitized so that a call can be made in a small voice.
● When receiving calls, PushTalk calls or mails, the vibrator operates in Pattern A regardless of the setting in
Vibrator Setting.
● When the time specified in Timer has passed, the vibrator operates in Pattern A.
● When the time set in Alarm Clock arrives, the vibrator operates as set in Alarm Clock.
● When the date and time set in Scheduler arrives, the vibrator operates in Pattern A.
● Melodies are not played automatically even if received mail or Message R/F is displayed with Auto play set
for Attachment Auto-play.
● When playing a melody, a confirmation screen asking whether to play the melody is displayed. When Yes is
selected, the melody is played.
● When playing the video/i-motion with sound, a confirmation screen asking whether to play the sound is
displayed. When Yes is selected, the sound is played. When playing the video/i-motion with image, if No is
selected, only the image is played.

Even in Silent Mode, the shutter sound is generated (except when recording Chara-den).

In the general silent mode, even if Call Cost Limit is set to ON and the setting notified by alarm is made, only a message

is displayed. In the personalized silent mode, the alarm sounds according to the call alert volume set in Customize Silent
Mode.
Customizing Silent Mode
The setting for Silent Mode can be changed (Customize Silent Mode). Which mode is set can be
selected from the general silent mode and the personalized silent mode.
