NO and NC

NO (Normal Open)
A contact that is normally open, and closes during an operation. It turns ON when the current is
turned ON. Its operation is contrary to NC.

A contact that is normally closed, and opens during an operation. It turns ON when the current is
turned OFF. Its operation is contrary to NO.

CW/CCW (Command pulse)
The command pulse method includes CW/CCW Pulse method and Pulse/Direction method.
The command pulse output method of the motion controller and the command pulse input method
of the motor driver must match.
⚫ SVON (Servo ON)
A signal to turn ON the control of the servo motor.
⚫ SVRST (Servo reset)
A signal to reset the servo driver.
⚫ SVCTRCL (Error counter clear)
A signal to clear the error counter (accumulated pulse counter, error pulse counter) in the servo
driver.
The servo driver tries to control the difference between the command pulse and the encoder FB
(feedback) pulse to be 0. But actually, the motor does not start in synchronization with the command
pulse, and follows the command pulse, causing a delay. Thus, even after the command pulse is
stopped, the motor continues to rotate until the error counter becomes 0.
To stop the motor immediately by an external signal such as homing, error counter clear is output
simultaneously with the command pulse output completion to stop the motor by clearing the error
counter in the servo driver.
