6.5 Checking the Operation

Using the "Getting Started" functions, follow the procedure below to perform basic testing of each module.
However, note that depending on the used master board, there may be modules that cannot be operated or
connected due to lack of support by "Getting Started".

6.5.1 P/W/C Module

(1) Check the machine sensor (±ELS, OLS, DLS) input polarity.
(2) Check the input polarity and input status of the servo I/F input signals (SVALM, INPOS, SVRDY, Z-phase
etc.).
(3) Check the operation of the servo I/F output signals (SVON, SVRST, SVCTRCL etc.).
(4) Check the stroke end limit sensor (ELS) operation
⚫ Check the relationship between the direction in which the motor rotates (axis travel direction) and ELS
(there are two polarities for ELS: NO and NC).
⚫ Move the axis to the + (-) direction by operating "Getting Started" and check whether ELS moves to the
+ (-) direction.
⚫ For your safety, check operation at a low speed when running the system for the first time.
⚫ If the pulse output format of "Getting Started" does not match the pulse input format of the servo driver,
the operation will not work properly.
(5) Check the origin sensor (OLS) and deceleration sensor (DLS) operation.
(6) Check the homing operation
"Getting Started" comes with 13 types of homing modes.
Select the homing mode suited for the sensor confirmation and check the operation.
(7) Check the travel distance
Using the positioning operation, check positioning by the expected travel distance.

6.5.2 T/D/I/O/A/B Module

(1) Check the input status of each input signal.
(2) Check the operation of each output signal.
When checking the operation, pay attention to the movement of actuators etc. to ensure your safety.
