Y fuse is broken

Y motor problem

Mainboard driver problem

Z encoder or flatcable is broken

There is too much force necessary to move the
head left or right.
There is too much force necessary to move the
media back- and/or forwards.
Solution
1. Check/replace fuse FU2
Refer to Electronics > Mainboard on page 73
Refer to X and Y motor fuse on page 74
2. Check/replace the Y-motor
Refer to Y-motor on page 36
3. Check/replace the mainboard
Refer to Electronics > Mainboard on page 67
1. Check/replace the penhead flatcable
Refer to Penhead FFC (flexible flat cable) on
page 41
2. Check/replace the penhead PCB
Refer to Penhead PCB on page 75
3. Replace the penhead assembly
Refer to Penhead assembly on page 44
4. Replace the mainboard
Refer to Mainboard on page 67
Remove the media or object blocking the head
from moving and restart the cutter.
Remove the media or object blocking the grit
rolls from moving and restart the cutter.
