Mutoh CutServer tests

4.4.1

Tracking test

When you encounter or believe that the cutting plotter has a tracking problem, you can verify
that with this tracking test. This test is only accessible via the Mutoh CutServer.
Please be sure to perform the test within following conditions:
Temperature between 5 °C and 30 °C

Humidity between 35% and 75%, non-condensing

Media on the conveyor rolls

Bags are closed

Used media has been acclimatised for at least two hours

The media is wound up straight on the core.

The force is 100 gram

It is very important that the media does not interfere with any obstacles during the test!
Please follow the procedure below to perform and evaluate the test:

Be sure that:
the cutter is powered ON and connected to the PC via USB

the USB drivers are installed.

the Mutoh CutServer has been launched and a connection has been established

Select which tracking test to perform.
Select the appropriate COM-port and double-click.
Load a knife.
Load a roll or sheet with at least the following measurements.
For Tracking Test Small (min 500 mm x 4050 mm)

For Tracking Test Large (min 1250 mm x 4050 mm)

Lever down.
