5B-4 FRONT BRAKE
INSTALLATION
CAUTION:
Observe CAUTION at the beginning of "Front Brake Com-
ponent Location" in this section.
1) Install pads (1).
NOTE:
• When installing brake pad, make sure that its tapered
side is positioned upward (A) as shown in figure.
• Install pad with sensor (2) to vehicle center side on
right wheel brake.
A: Upper side
B: Lower side
2) Install caliper (1) and tighten caliper pin bolts (2) to specifica-
tion.
Tightening torque
Caliper pin bolt (a): 30 N·m (3.0 kg-m, 22.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
Make sure that boots (3) are fit into groove securely.
3) Tighten front wheel bolts to specification.
Tightening torque
Wheel bolt (b): 95 N·m (9.5 kg-m, 69.0 lb-ft)
4) Upon completion of installation, perform brake test.
