Power-up procedure

Perform the following steps one after another with no delay between steps.

End-of-day routine

If your press prints three shifts a day, lubricate the required components once a day as
described in 'Mechanical system lubrication' on page 86.
At the end of the day, perform the following procedure:

Weekly routines

Perform the following procedures at the end of every week:

10 Clean the suctions cups on the perfector and exit rotor.
11 Clean the paper path optical sensors. See 'Cleaning the paper path sensors' on page
12 Clean the ITM area that comes into contact with the ITM thermal fuse and the
ENWW
Close all the doors.
Turn on the Main Power switch.
Wait for the press control panel to appear.
Press the Power Enable switch.
In the control panel, click Get Ready.
Perform the Print Cleaner procedure. Use the Print Cleaner wizard to clean the
blanket.
Drain the Cooler. See 'Overview' on page 258.
Clean the Cleaning Station blade. See 'Cleaning the cleaning station blade' on page
202.
Check impression paper. Check paper for correct placement, dirt, and creases or
tears. If necessary, replace the impression paper.
Set the press to Standby.
Shut down the press.
Perform the end-of-day routine.
Rinse the imaging oil squeezer bottle using imaging oil.
Perform weekly maintenance on the chiller (see 'Maintenance' on page 265).
Clean the PTE protective cover. See 'Cleaning the PTE cover' on page 254.
Clean the ink pumps using special colors for ink tanks 5, 6, and 7, if present.
Perform the Configuration files backup.
Check the imaging agent level. Add imaging agent if necessary.
Clean the grippers using IPA.
Clean the paper exit roller using IPA.
