underlayer.

18 Carefully un-peel the tape holding the PIP underlayer mounting strip, and remove the

20 Turn the handwheel and firmly press down the side edges of the PIP underlayer.
21 Visually inspect the PIP underlayer on the drum.
22 Remove the jig.
23 Install new impression drum paper.
24 Reinstall the following:

• Do not stop the drum during the rotation and application of the PIP underlayer.

• Make sure that the layer surface is smooth and completely attached to the drum.
• Look carefully for air bubbles, or other particle adhesions causing bumps in the PIP
underlayer.
