Lower the paper guide frame.
Adjust the rear guide position until it touches the paper and supports the stack.
Adjust the front paper guide frame side spring bar.
Using the adjustment knobs, align the springs with the sheet. Verify that the springs
are aligned with the substrate.
Move the front paper guide to the stack, so that the springs press gently against it.
Allow the spring tongues to press against the left edge of the stack so they are
deflected slightly by 2 to 3 mm (0.08 to 0.12 inch).
Using the adjustment knob, adjust the trailing edge guide. Allow the guide to press
gently against the middle of the stack.
On the control panel, click the Consumables menu, and then select Substrate,
andTransport.
Set the following transport parameters:
• Feed—off
• Speed—normal
• Mode—multi shot
• Separation—multi separation
• Simplex
Click Run.
While the paper is fed, make sure that the press picks up only one sheet at a time.
The next sheet to be picked up should stay below the sheet separators.
