Note The back side (side 2) is the upper side of the printed sheet as it lays on the exit tray.

172 Chapter 11 Paper transport
Select the following Transport Parameters:
• In the Feed section, select On.
• In the Speed section, select Normal.
• In the Separation section, select Multi separation.
• In the Duplex section, select Simplex.
Click Run. The press streams the substrate. To stop the press, click Stop.
Watch the sheets behavior. Inspect the sheet stacking in the exit tray. If it is not
stacked in an orderly manner, click Stop.
Readjust the exit tray.
Click Run. Inspect the sheet stacking in the exit tray.
Repeat the procedure until you are satisfied with the paper transport system
performance.
Click Stop.
Select a duplex job with registration marks and print five copies.
On the fifth printed copy, measure the front and back placement deviation for the
horizontal and vertical axes.
Open the Job Properties window.
Click the Image Placement tab.
