Note Do not use a sharp object to peel off the blanket because this can scratch the ITM drum.

Cut the blanket with a knife just above the outside metal clamp. Angle the knife
upwards as shown in Figure 9-4.

Insert the needlenose pliers between the blanket and the ITM drum on the rear side
above the metal fastener bar. Peel the blanket from the drum.
