Overview of Configuration Options

The industrial managed switch provides two options for advanced management
features:
Telnet/SSH Port
A menu-driven user interface can be called up from the WBM ("Web Based
Management") via the Telnet port.

Please refer to the section "Configuring in the Web-Based Management System
(WBM)" for a detailed description.
Console Port
The CLI ("Command Line Interface") can be called up from the Console port on
the front of the industrial managed switch (local) via an integrated management
agent.
The management agent is based on SNMP (Simple Network Management
Protocol). Using this SNMP agent, management software can be used to manage
the industrial managed switch from any PC in the network.
The management agent includes an embedded HTTP Web agent. A standard Web
browser can be used on any PC connected to the network to access the Web agent.
