Configuring in the Web-Based Management System (WBM)
Default Description
Disabled Select "Disable" in the selection box to disable the
"Xpress Ring" function.
Enabled Select "Enable" in the selection box to enable the
"Xpress Ring" function.
This column can be used to configure Ring 1.
This column can be used to configure Ring 2.
Disabled Select "Disable" in the selection box to disable the
"Xpress Ring" function for the respective ring.
Enabled Select "Enable" in the selection box to enable the
"Xpress Ring" function for the respective ring.
Enter the MAC address of the respective ring in the
input field.
Forwarder Select the "Forwarder" role for the switch in the
selection box.
Arbiter Select the "Arbiter" role for the switch in the
selection box.
None Select "None" in the selection box if you do not
want to enable a primary port in the ring.
1 ... 10 Select the respective primary port in the selection
box.
None Select "None" in the selection box if you do not
want to enable a secondary port in the ring.
1 ... 10 Select the respective secondary port in the selection
box.
Default Description
Disabled This field displays the current status of the Xpress
Enabled Ring.
This column displays the configurations for Ring 1.
This column displays the configurations for Ring 2.
This field displays the last byte of the respective
MAC address of the Xpress Ring.
Forwarder This field displays the role of switch.
