Using AudioCodes EMS, configure the active blade's new local IP address:
a.
Add a region for your Mediant 3000 (refer to the EMS User's Guide).
b.
Verify that Mediant 3000 is up and running, by pinging its IP address.
c.
Right-click the region you added, and then from the shortcut menu, choose Add
MG.
d.
In the 'MG Name' field, enter an arbitrary name for the device.
e.
In the 'IP Address' field, enter the private IP address that you assigned to the
blade in Slot 1; the device is now configured in the EMS Server with the private IP
address of the blade in Slot 1. If you double-click the device in the MGs List
window, the Status window appears displaying only the active blade in Slot 1 (i.e.,
the device is not yet in HA mode).
6.
Using AudioCodes EMS, configure the global IP address:
a.
In the MGs List window, double-click the device; the Status window appears.
b.
In the Status window, click the active blade.
