3.6.5 Configuring an OSPF Cost for an Interface

Follow these steps to configure an OSPF cost for an interface:
Enter system view
Enter interface view
Configure an OSPF cost
for the interface
Follow these steps to configure a bandwidth reference value:
Enter system view
Enter OSPF view
Configure a bandwidth
reference value
Note:
If no OSPF cost is configured for an interface, OSPF computes the cost automatically:
Interface OSPF cost= Bandwidth reference value/Interface bandwidth. If the calculated
cost is greater than 65535, the value of 65535 is used.
