1.10 Configuring the Function of Transmitting BPDUs
Transparently
In a specific network, spanning tree calculations of the specific VLANs are not expected
to be performed on all the switches. To do this, you can configure the function of
transmitting BPDUs transparently on the switch(es) where spanning tree calculations of
the specific VLANs are not to be performed.
Follow these steps to configure the function of transmitting BPDUs transparently:
Enter system view
Enter port view
Enable the function of
transmitting BPDUs
transparently
Return to system view
Enable the function of
transmitting BPDUs
transparently in the
specified VLAN(s)
Display the VLAN lists
and ports configured with
the function of
transmitting BPDUs
transparently
Caution:
Do not enable the function of tagging BPDUs and the function of transmitting BPDUs
transparently on a switch at the same time.
