5. Route the loose (unfitted) end of the fluid line through the fluid-line
aperture and out of the source enclosure.

6. Fit a ferrule, locking ring, and compression fitting to the loose end of the
fluid line.
7. Attach the fluid line to the appropriate port on the ACQUITY UPLC
M-Class system, or to the onboard IntelliStart Fluidics on the mass
spectrometer (see
