B External Connections
Required materials
• Chemical-resistant, powder-free gloves
• 7-mm nut driver
• Sharp knife
The following items are included in the Xevo G2-XS installation kit:
• NW25 center rings
• NW25 clamps
• 12.7-mm clear PVC exhaust tubing
• PVC hose clamps
• Vacuum hose
• PTFE drip tray
To connect the roughing pump:
1. Make sure there is adequate ventilation around the pump, so that the
ambient temperature around the pump does not exceed 40°C. Allow a
minimum 150 mm clearance for pump cooling fans.
