Installing the L2W-323 Gateway
Uploading the BRI Module Driver
The BRI module driver is hard coded in a new L2W-323 Gateway flash memory. If you
have installed a new ISDN BRI module in an earlier version of the L2W-323 Gateway, you
may need to upgrade the BRI module driver. For information on uploading a BRI module
driver to the Gateway, see "Upgrading the ISDN BRI WAN Module Driver" in Chapter 8,
"Servicing the Gateway."
Note: The V.35 modules have built-in drivers.
Mounting the Gateway in a 19-inch Rack
You can install the Gateway in most 19-inch racks. The rack mounting kit supplied with the
Gateway includes two 19-inch brackets. Two screws and two flat washers are supplied with
each bracket.

To mount the L2W-323 Gateway in a rack
1. Place the Gateway right way up on a hard flat surface, with the front panel facing you.
2. Position a mounting bracket over the mounting holes on one side of the Gateway, as
shown in figure 11.
