!" Define a second number delimiter for 2B Calls – a 2B outgoing call is achieved by
dialing the service prefix for 1B calls and dialing two ISDN phone numbers. Some
H.323 endpoints do not provide an option for dialing two separate numbers and you
may need a delimiter to indicate to the Gateway the end of one number and the
beginning of the other. For information on defining a second number delimiter, see
"Setting Miscellaneous Parameters" in Chapter 5, "Basic Configuration."

!" Check for available services – as a user, the service you dial depends on the type of
call you want to make. Ask your network administrator which Gateway services are
available.
Making Voice Calls

To make a voice call to an H.323 endpoint on another LAN or to a terminal or phone
on the WAN
Dial the service prefix for a voice call followed by the destination phone number.
Example:
9 1816470002
Where 9 is the service prefix for a voice call and 1816470002 is the destination phone
number including the area code.
Making a IB Video Call

To make a 1B video call to an H.323 endpoint on another LAN or to a terminal on the
WAN
Dial the service prefix for a 1B-video call followed by the destination phone number.
Example:
82 1816455318
Where 82 is the service prefix for a voice call and 1816455318 is the destination phone
number, including the area code.
