Unpacking the Module

To unpack the WAN module
1.
Place the shipping container on a clean flat surface.
2.
Carefully open the container and remove the module.
3.
Inspect the container and module for any damage that may have occurred during
shipping. Report any damage to your dealer.
Safety Precautions
Static electricity can severely damage the module components. As a precaution:
!" Keep the module in its anti-static bag until you are ready to install it.
!" Avoid touching the module components and connector pins.
Inserting the Module
The WAN module is installed in the rear panel of the Gateway using one of the available
slots. Currently, only MW1 and MW2 are available. MW3 and MW4 are for future
versions.

To insert the module into the Gateway
1. Make sure the Gateway is not in use.
2. Power off the Gateway.
3. On the rear panel of the Gateway, loosen the screws on the slot cover plate and remove
the cover plate.
4. Gently slide the module into the slot along the bottom runners. You will hear a click
once the module locks into place.
5. Secure the module with the screws supplied.
