Assigning Directory Numbers
Assign up to eight directory numbers for the signaling protocol (or for each SPID) selected
in the WAN Port Settings – ISDN screen.
Note: When using the 5ESS_PTP protocol, Directory Numbers should be left blank.

To assign Directory Numbers to an ISDN Connection
1. From the WAN Port Settings – ISDN screen click Directory Num. The Directory
Number screen is displayed.
2.
Define between one to eight directory numbers (DNs) per signaling protocol (or per
SPID) and click OK to return to the WAN Port Settings – ISDN screen.
Note: Use only the local seven-digit number for the DN and do not include the area code.
Do not use characters such as commas, dashes or spaces between the ISDN number
and the DN.
