Default Gatekeeper IP and Port – the IP address of the Gatekeeper the Gateway will use;
the default Gatekeeper IP is the same as the IP you assigned to the Gateway. The default
port for Gateway/Gatekeeper communication is 1719.
Default Router IP – the IP address of the router for the Gateway network segment.
Transcoding Priority – you can set the priority audio transcoding method for the Gateway.
The available settings are:
!" G.711 (WAN) ↔ G.723.1 (LAN)
!" G.728 (WAN) ↔ G.711 (LAN)
!" Disable – prevents the Gateway from performing transcoding.
Note: Voice calls do not support G.728.
When the Gateway does not have a transcoding card, this field displays None. For more
information, see "Supported Audio Transcoding" in Chapter 2, "Overview."
Internal IVR Service – enables the internal IVR functionality for the Gateway. For more
information, see "IVR – Interactive Voice Response" in Chapter 2, "Overview." The
Internal IVR is enabled by default.
IVR Operator – you can set a number that functions as an IVR operator for incoming calls.
The default is 1111. For information on the IVR operator, see "IVR – Interactive Voice
Response" in Chapter 2, "Overview." The default is 1111.
External IVR IP and Port – allows you to set the IP address and port number of an
external IVR. When not using the internal IVR, you can define an external IVR for the
Gateway. For RADVision IVR systems the default port is 1620.
Second Number Delimiter – allows you to define a delimiter between two numbers for
instances when you make an outgoing 2B call to the WAN and the endpoint you are dialing
from has a single phone number field. If no delimiter is defined, such endpoints will not be
able to make 2B calls through the Gateway. Allowed characters are asterisk (*), comma (,)
and pound (#) or a combination of these with a limit of 31 characters. The default is asterisk.
TCS4 Number Delimiter – allows you to set a delimiter between the main number and the
TCS4 extension in Gateway-to-Gateway dialing. Allowed characters are the same as those
allowed for the second number delimiter. There is no default TCS4 delimiter. See "TCS4"
in Chapter 2, "Overview."
Note: The TCS4 Number Delimiter must be different from the Second Number Delimiter
and must not repeat any of its sub-strings. If you enter an invalid string in one of
these fields, an exception message is displayed.
Advanced – displays the Advanced screen. For more information, see "Advanced Screen
Parameter," page 5-19.
