au-ldap-bind-dn

Specifies the login DN (distinguished name) to access an LDAP server.

Guidelines
The au-ldap-bind-dn command specifies the login DN to access the target LDAP
server. This command is relevant when the authentication method, as defined with
the au-method command, is ldap and when the LDAP search for group name
property, as defined with the au-ldap-search command, is enabled.
Beyond specifying the login DN when searching the LDAP for the group name,
you need to use the au-ldap-bind-password command to specify the user's
password and optionally use the au-ldap-parameters command to associate an
existing LDAP Search Parameters object.
