4. If snmpd startup is in progress, execute the service command to stop
snmpd.
Syntax
/sbin/service snmpd stop
5. Change the oldEngineID value defined in the /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf
file.
Change it to an appropriate hexadecimal value consisting of up to 34 digits.
However, be sure to use a value that is unique in the partitions in the same
cabinet.
Example of changing the oldEngineID value to 0x19760523
#vi /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf
oldEngineID 0x19760523
6. Execute the service command to start snmpd.
Syntax
/sbin/service snmpd start
7. Move to the /opt/fujitsu/SVmco/sh/ directory to generate another
SNMPv3 password for internal SVmco communication.
