Engine - Cooling 928
Function-testing the flap
positioning motor
With a length of cable, connect pin
7 (ground) of plug I to pin 5 (0%)
of plug I (approx. 2 - 4 seconds).
The
the
flap positioning motor moves to
0% position.
Connect pin 7, plug I and pin 2,
plug
II
(approx. 2 - 4 seconds).
The flap positioning motor moves to
the 30% position.
Connect pin 7. plug I and pin 1
(100%)
(approx. 2 - 4 seconds).
The flap positioning motor moves to
the
100%
position.
1' C-F- Bi.
If the flap positioning motor fails
to assume one of the positions
stated, use an ohrrmeter to check the
conductivity of the control unit -
flap positioning motor wire harness.
If
the wire harness is OK the flap
positioning motor is defective.
