NEW INTERNATIONAL UNIT SYSTEM
The "Legislation Concerning Units of Measurement" was passed in the Federal Republic of Germany
on July 5.
1910.
The new units have to be applied in official and business transactions by the end of
the allocated transition period on December 31. 1917 (some even earlier).
The new units are derived from the international system of basic units.
