If necessary, specify settings for Annotation, Output
Orientation, Covers, Separators, and Finishing.
Build Job
This feature scans and merges into the machine memory several
individual job segments with different features programmed for each
segment. Each segment can consist of an original or a stack of originals.
To begin, make selections from the following features. Then select Start.
To exit Build Job mode, select any button e.g. Copy button at the top
of the screen.
Annotation
Off
Covers
No Covers
When adding annotation:
The setting is applied to a whole job.
Select Stamp, Date, Page Numbering or Set Numbering.
When specifying Output Orientation:
The setting is applied to a whole job.
Select Auto, Face Up, or Face Up Revers Order.
Only Auto is available when specifying Output/Finishing.
When adding covers:
The setting is applied to a whole job. Nothing can be copied onto the cover. The
number of covers can be set from 1 to 99 as required.
This cannot be set with the separators function.
When inserting separators:
You can insert a blank piece of paper as separator between segments. Nothing
can be copied onto the separators. The number of separators can be set from 1
to 99 as required.
When there are stacks of documents that do not need separators:
Select Blank Covers of Covers on the Output Format screen for the first
document.
Then, select No Covers of Covers for the stacks of documents that do
not need separators.
When specifying Finishing:
The setting is applied to a whole job.
If you add covers or insert separators, Y directions of the covers, separators,
and paper to be copied must be the same length.
