The number shown after BB# or XBBOX# is the ID (BB-ID) identifying the unit. The
IDs of the SPARC M10-4S are set, starting at 00. The IDs of crossbar boxes are set,
starting at 80.

safety precautions, system specifications,
and necessary conditions for
installation.

Prepare the necessary tools/
information for installation.

Confirm the delivered components.

Before installing the rack, connect the
power cords to a power distribution
unit (PDU) of the rack.

Install the rack.

If there are two racks, connect them.

If there are optional components,
mount them on the chassis.

Set the ID required for identifying each
chassis.

Connect crossbar cables, XSCF BB
control cables, and the XSCF DUAL
control cable to the chassis.

Connect serial cables, LAN cables, and
power cords to crossbar boxes.
