Section 5: Parts and Module Replacement

5.5.20 Projector Feet

UV HAZARD! Always wear protective safety clothing and a face shield when performing
service with the safety shield removed and a lamp installed.
(Estimated Replacement Time: 15 minutes for 1 foot + 10 minutes for calibration)
1. Remove the top lid. Refer to
2. Remove the safety shield. Refer to
3. Remove the high security lid. Refer to
4. Prop up the appropriate end of the projector or shift the projector off the table/pedestal to achieve proper
clearance.
5. To remove the front feet, 15 centimeters (6") of clearance is required. For the rear feet, 23 centimeters (9")
is required.
6. Use a 17mm socket to remove the locking nut on the foot.
7. Use a 19mm wrench to remove the entire foot.
8. Reverse the above steps to reinstall the feet.
9. Tweak masking. For details, refer to the CP2210 User Manual (P/N: 020-100410-xx).

5.5.21 Lamp Door Interlock

UV HAZARD! Always wear protective safety clothing and a face shield when performing
service with the safety shield removed and a lamp installed.
The lamp door interlock is located at the rear of the projector and is tripped when the low security key is used
to open the lamp door.
(Estimated Replacement Time: 30 minutes)
1. Remove the top lid. Refer to

5. Disconnect the red and black leads from the lamp door interlock.
6. Use a 5mm socket driver to remove the nuts securing the switch to the bracket.
7. Reverse the above steps to reinstall.
