5.6.11 Contrast Aperture

(Estimated Replacement Time: 15 minutes)
The contrast aperture is located after the fold mirror in the light path within the IOS.
1. Remove top lid. Refer to

3. Disconnect the harness from the light sensor module
(Figure 5-70).
4. Use a #2 Phillips
contrast aperture to the IOS (Figure 5-69).
5. Slide the aperture out along the slotted tracks inside the
IOS.
6. Reverse the above steps to install the contrast aperture.

5.6.12 Light Sensor Module

The light sensor module, mounted to the side of the IOS, is
orientated to sample the light coming through the fold mirror.

1. Remove the top lid. Refer to
2. Disconnect the harness from the light sensor module
(Figure 5-70).
3. Use a 2mm hex key to remove the two hex screws
securing the sensor to the IOS (Figure 5-70).
NOTE: The middle screw is used to adjust light
tolerances.
4. Reverse the above steps to install. Power up the projector
and recalibrate the footLambert (fL) readings for
minimum and maximum power. For details, refer to the
CP2210 User Manual (020-100410-xx).
