5.5.31 Primary Lens Mount

(Estimated Replacement Time: 30 minutes + 5 minute lens calibration)
1. Remove the top lid. Refer to
5-7.
2. Remove the high security lid. Refer to
Security Lid, on page
3. Remove the light engine cover. Refer to Figure 5-
42 Remove Light Engine Cover, on page 5-30.
4. Remove the cardcage. Refer to
Module, on page
5. Remove the front skin. Refer to
Skin, on page
6. Disconnect the 10 harnesses from the IMCB.
7. Route the harnesses through the access hole located
next to the lens mount.
8. Using a 5mm hex key, remove the three screws
from the corners of the lens mount (Figure 5-47).
9. Remove the lens mount.
10. Reverse the above steps to reinstall the lens mount.
11. Perform boresight alignment. Refer to the CP2210 User Manual (P/N:020-100410-xx) for details.
12. Install the new lens mount and lens. For details on lens installation, refer to
13. Calibrate the lens, using the TPC. Refer to the CP2210 User Manual (P/N:020-100410-xx) for details.
