Section 5: Parts and Module Replacement

5.5.7 Cardcage Panel Skin

The cardcage panel is on the right-side of the projector. Most service procedures performed on this side of the
projector are typically done by removing the cardcage; therefore, removal of this panel is unlikely unless it is
damaged and requires replacement.

1. Remove the top lid. Refer to

3. Using a #2 Phillips

4. Use a 4mm hex key to remove the four screws securing
the skin to the corner brackets.
5. Use a 4mm hex key to remove the five socket head cap
screws along the bottom edge of the skin
(Figure 5-7).
6. Pull the cardcage panel out.
7. Reverse the above steps to re-install. NOTE: Ensure
that the front and rear corners interlock before reinstall-
ing screws.

5.5.8 Rear Access Door Skin

The rear access frame interlocks with the side skins. This skin
should never need to be removed unless it is damaged and
requires replacement.

1. Remove the top lid. Refer to

4. Use a 4mm hex key to remove the five socket head cap
screws along the bottom edge of the projector (Figure 5-
8).
