5.6.16 Yellow Notch Filter (YNF)

(40 minutes; includes 30 minute calibration)
The YNF is located in the light path just after the contrast
aperture.
1. Remove the top lid. Refer to

3. Use a 2mm hex key to remove the three hex screws
securing the YNF to the IOS (Figure 5-76). If necessary,
loosen the center nut.
4. Carefully pull the filter out of the IOS.
5. Reverse the above steps to install.
6. Green primary and MCGD must be calibrated after
installation. For details, refer to the CP2210 User Manual (P/N: 020-100410-xx).

5.6.17 Illumination Optic System (IOS)

UV HAZARD! Always wear protective safety clothing and a face shield when performing
service with the safety shield removed and a lamp installed.
(Estimated Replacement Time: 2 hours; includes 1 hour calibration)
The IOS is a magnesium frame designed to house the light engine. The light tube and most optical components
are fastened to the IOS. All components except the second fold mirror can be removed on their own; therefore,
the need to replace the IOS is low.

6. Using the 3mm hex key provided with the projector, remove the
two screws securing the firewall, which separates the lamp
housing and the light engine (Figure 5-77).
7. Using a 5mm hex key, remove the three screws from the bottom
of the IOS.
